HERA United signs Janneke Haast

Amsterdam, 3 July 2026

HERA United has signed Janneke Haast. The 22-year-old midfielder from Oud-Gastel signs a contract for the 2026-2027 season.

Haast (born 10 July 2003) began playing football at SC Gastel, where she spent seven years. At the age of fifteen she moved to DSE in Etten-Leur, where she was active for four seasons, before going on to play two seasons for Sparta Rotterdam. Alongside her football career, Haast graduated last year as a physiotherapist and combines her work at a physiotherapy practice with professional football at HERA United.

Technical Director Mark Coonen: “Janneke brings exactly what we are looking for: energy, depth and an enormous drive to improve. With her stamina, footballing intelligence and enthusiasm, she is a player who can add real value to HERA both on and off the pitch.”

Haast: “The vision and ambitions of the club appeal to me enormously. I believe in the plans that are in place here and I am delighted to be part of them. I look forward to continuing to develop myself, contributing my qualities to the team and fighting together for promotion to the Eredivisie.”
