The 22-year-old Danish goalkeeper has signed a one-year deal and will play for the Amsterdam club in the Eerste divisie from next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baun (15 May 2004) came through the youth academy of Aalborg Boldklub (AaB), where she also played her first two senior seasons. During that period she was called up to the Danish Under-23 squad. She then spent six months with American college side Omaha Mavericks, before playing for Ume\u00e5 IK and later IK Uppsala in Sweden. At HERA United she takes the next step in her career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technical Director Mark Coonen on Baun&#8217;s arrival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIn Maja we see a goalkeeper with a lot of potential. She is eager to learn, unafraid to take initiative and determined to keep developing herself. That fits seamlessly with our vision: giving talent the space to grow in an environment where development comes first.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maja Baun:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cI\u2019m very happy with my move to HERA United and Dutch football! The project here at HERA is very exciting and promising, and I\u2019m pleased with becoming a part of this journey. From the moment I first heard of the club, I knew it was a place I would want to be at.
